What are dental implants and can they help me?
Dental implants are attachments that allow replacement teeth to be fixed to the jaw bone.

Modern implants are made from a strong titanium and zirconium alloy. This roughened, biocompatible material enables bone to grow onto the implant surface, fusing the implant to the jaw bone.

Dental implants allow various types of restoration to be attached, depending on the situation. This could be a single-tooth crown, or a bridge where multiple teeth are missing. They are also helpful in preventing dentures from moving or dislodging.

For example, a single implant can support a single-tooth crown and sometimes a two-tooth bridge.

Two implants could support a three or four tooth bridge...
