Dental Hygienists

Dena MacKenzie

Dental Hygienist GDC 4532

Dena worked in crafts and animation before training as a nurse. She then qualified as a Dental Hygienist from Charles Clifford Dental Hospital, Sheffield in 1993 having won the Stafford Miller Prize.

Since qualifying Dena has worked for Powys Community Services developing educational programmes for schools and carers as well as treating patients referred with advanced periodontal disease- a challenge she still enjoys.

She has an active interest in complimentary medicine and also works in a Mid-Wales practice.

Dena also practices electrolysis for facial hair removal at Alliance Court.

Dena has a busy family life but still manages to go for 'a long stretch' on the coast and mountains- the longer and wilder the better!
