Dr. David Hotchen

Dentist with a Specialist Interest In Implantology

David has a friendly and caring manner and is a true perfectionist. He loves providing transformational changes that give his patients the ability to smile with confidence again.​

​

David qualified in Dentistry from The University of Liverpool in 2012. As a student, he represented his dental school in a prestigious restorative dentistry contest, finishing in 2nd place nationally. On graduation, he was awarded the Dental School's Prize for Restorative Dentistry. He has since worked both in both General Dental Practice and as a Senior House Officer in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery.

 

David has been providing dental implant treatments since 2014. He completed his dental implant training at Cambridge Academy of Dental Implantology and initially worked alongside Willie Jack, gaining invaluable experience not only in placing implants, but also restoring both modern and older systems. He soon completed training in advanced and complex surgical implant procedures before gaining a distinction in his Dental Implantology Masters degree in 2019. David has a particular interest in the use of the latest digital and CADCAM technologies in dental implant procedures and especially enjoys using these modern techniques to help those with more complex needs. He is a member of the International Team for Implantology, and an Associate Fellow of both the Association of Dental Implantology and the College of General Dentistry.

David grew up in Cheltenham and, before becoming a dentist, completed a degree in Biomedical Science at Sheffield University after which he worked in cardiac physiology. David is married to Alison and they live in Herefordshire with two children. In his spare time he enjoys music, playing several different musical instruments. David is also a keen rock climber and cyclist.

Dr. Emma Pourmahak

BSc(Hons), BDS,

Emma is a friendly, very gentle and caring dentist who will settle for nothing less than the best standard of care possible. 

 

As well as general dental care, Emma has completed additional post-graduate training in orthodontics and is able to provide a range of modern adult and child solutions for aligning teeth. These include Clear Correct and Invisalign clear aligners, discrete labial braces with clear ceramic brackets and hidden lingual braces where the brackets are attached to the backs of the teeth.

​

​Emma is experienced in providing non-surgical facial aesthetic treatments, including anti-wrinkle treatments, facial fillers, hyperhidrosis (anti-sweating) and masseter treatment, following a full clinical assessment.​

​

Emma is originally from Lancashire, first graduating from Sheffield University with a degree in Biomedical Science in 2007 and then from Liverpool University in Dentistry in 2012. She worked in general dental practice near Sheffield before moving to Ludlow in 2015. Emma is married to Luke and in her spare time she enjoys cooking and synchronised swimming.

Dr. Joseph Sheldon

BDS

Joe qualified from Kings College London in 2020 and joined the practice in 2024. He is a gentle and caring dentist with high standards of care and is already popular with families who have been attending the practice for many years.

​

Joe spent a year gaining experience in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery before moving back full time into general practice. He has completed further exams with the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh as well as a postgraduate certificate in Aesthetic and Restorative Dentistry.

​

Outside of work Joe is a keen golfer, and enjoys keeping fit and eating good food

Dr. Lorne Whitmarsh

BDS, BPharm

Dr Whitmarsh's friendly approach and strive for excellence are well appreciated by his patients.


He is a member of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (BACD) and as such regularly attends courses to keep up with latest developments and techniques. He is keen to make all his patients relaxed and at the same time provide a high quality of dental care.


His experience extends to implantology, single visit crown and veneer placement without the need for impressions, clearstep orthodontic positioners to help straighten teeth.

​

Lorne is a family man and a keen tennis player.

Har-Amrit

Dr. Har-Amrit Singh

BDS, MFDS RCPS(Glasg), PgCert(MedEd)

Har completed his dental training at the University of Birmingham graduating with distinction in Clinical Dentistry, a certificate for Clinical Excellence and was awarded the UK Dental Undergraduate Award by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow.

​

Har has since worked both in general practice and secondary care in Oral Surgery, Oral Medicine and Restorative Dentistry at Cardiff Dental Hospital. During this time, he has also received prizes from the British Society for Restorative Dentistry and The British Society of Prosthodontics.

​

Har now splits his time working with consultants and specialists in Restorative Dentistry at Cardiff Dental Hospital, teaching the Cardiff Dental School undergraduates and working at Alliance. He has also served as a member of the Research Advisory Panel of the College of General Dentistry and is a current member on the British Society for Restorative Dentistry Council.

​

Har is a gentle, clear and thorough clinician with exceptional standards of care. His enthusiasm for dentistry is obvious!

 

Outside of work, Har likes to keep fit and explore new places.

Dr. Katherine Warwick

BDS (Birm) FDS RCS (Ed) DPDS (Brist)

Kate is an experienced dentist with a particular interest in periodontics. She is passionate about providing high-quality, thoughtful care and is committed to creating a calm, supportive experience for every patient.

​

Before qualifying as a dentist, Kate worked as a dental technician, giving her a strong understanding of prosthodontics and restorative dentistry. She also owned her own dental practice in Shrewsbury for 15 years, with a focus on supporting patients with periodontitis.

​

Kate qualified from the University of Birmingham with Clinical Distinction and has completed extensive postgraduate training in areas including oral surgery, periodontics and restorative dentistry. She is also a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.

​

Kate is highly experienced in digital dentistry and is able to provide same-day CEREC crowns. She is known for her calm and reassuring manner, especially with nervous patients, and enjoys being part of a team dedicated to excellent patient care.

​

Outside dentistry, Kate enjoys baking and spending time in the garden. She likes to keep active through strength training, yoga and skiing. Kate is also involved in Toastmasters, reflecting her interest in communication and personal development.
